General Ledger
The Visual printLEADER/lAS Advance! General Ledger system provides you with financial information that is timely, accurate. and easliy verifiable. Drill down buttons allow the user to get to the original entry without looking at the hard copy.

Flexible - The General Ledger account size is 12 alphanumeric and the format can be configured to conform to an existing account structure. The # of periods and period end dates can also be defined.

Budget Entry - Over 90 different budget types can be user defined. Budgets can be automatically be copied to other budget types.

For Account Inquiry purposes. you can view account balances for any year (up to 9) by account period. Transaction details can be viewed for any and all periods.

Account Entry - You can quickly edit and view your Chart of Accounts entries.

Future Posting - Transactions from other modules or from journal entries can be made to anv defined future period without having to close the General Ledger.

An Audit Trail of all activity that is posted to the GL is provided. A copy of the original journal can be previewed on screen or re-printed.

	GL Journal Entry posts transactions to the General Ledger accounts.

Reverse Journal Entries may be specified while entering in order to be reversed at a future date.

Recurring Journal Entries may be defined and automatically posted to GL.

Define your own Chart of Account ranges for current assets, current liabilities, revenues, etc.

The Trial Balance Report details account balances by account for a given date or period range.

The General Ledger Report lists account transaction details for a specified date, fiscal period or account range.

Financial Report Writer - With the purchase and installation of the General Ledger module, we also include a report writer to enable you to design customized financial statements and schedules. There is no limit to the types of statements and schedules you can create using actual or budget data.
