System Manager
The Visual printLEADER/1AS Advance! System Manager is the master control center for the entire suite of software programs developed by Visual printLEADER and IAS Advance. It is a required module and must be installed in order to operate all of our other programs. Featuring a true Microsoft Windows 98 graphic user interface, the System Manager controls your computer environment and set-up, on-line help, multilevel password securities, all available modules and menus, windows and mouse related operations, and initializes the system. The System Manager also allows you to work within all of the Visual printLEADER/IAS Modules to be able to use multiple modules simultaneously, shrink, enlarge and re-size your windows, create express icons, and tile more than one window.

	The System Manager maintains multiple Levels of Security. Over 250 different access levels are available per user. You may setup various levels of password access not just limited to what modules can be utilized, but also what fimctions of each module. Define access levels of Read/Write, Read Only, or No Access.

The System Manager can be installed as a single user or on a network. Recommended networks are Windows NT 4.x (service pak 4 & higher), Windows 2000 & Novell NetWare 5.x (we cannot recommend a peer to peer network)

On-line context sensitive help is available by clicking your mouse of the ? symbol.

System Manager will support transaction rollback processing to prevent data loss and corruption during a loss of power. If for any reason the system cannot perform an operation on a database, the entire process is rolled back and no update to the database will occur. This feature is iio6hant in the event you experience a sudden loss of power or a surge. The integrity of your data is protected.

Express Icons can be created to allow you instant access to your most commonly used modules from a toolbar without having to exit the current module. This feature allows you faster navigation.


	Track all User Activity with our System Activity Log. Significant activities performed on all modules, including changes to master files, software installation, system option changes, updates, error conditions, are all tracked and stored for browsing on screen or printed as a report. System Manager also tracks each individual's activity including a date and time stamp.

The Navigation Tool Bar can be utilized from all database entry programs to provide quick access to commonly used furictions such as; Go to First record, go to Previous, go to Next, go to Last, Save, Clear & Save a record, Undo, Delete, Print, Copy, Help, Add an Item, Insert an Item, and Delete an Item. By pausing over each icon, it will light up in color, and a yellow Tool Tip will appear on screen for a few seconds reminding you of what that fimction will perform.
Hyperlinks (Jump & Add) are available throughout most modiles and can be used to quickly and easily add or modify database information without any interruption of the program you are working on.

Data for an unlimited number of companies can be maintained (subject to hard disk space).

You may use your mouse to select data fields or use your arrow keys for navigating. All data is validated before being written and stored to the database.

The System Manager will also allow you to re-size certain screens (higher resolution monitors are required: 600 x 800 pixels & higher). All screens will "remember" their previous position and size when displayed per user ID.
